When we dropped off our mare (a 9 year old green "colt" to be trained with Slash D Quarter Horses, she was stiff, stubborn, and incredibly hard to ride other than a straight line and a walking pace. Michael had her for 60 days and we went out every week to see her and her progress. Even after the first week, we could see a big difference in her movement and attitude. Then week after week, it was fun to watch her become more soft and giving to the bit and have flexibility in her body. Whereas before it would take all of my might to bend her, after working with Michael, I could turn her with two fingertips. Michael was wonderful to work with. He took great care of our mare. He always made us feel like we were a priority. He was very flexible with his schedule. He answered all of our questions thoughtfully and knowledgeably. During our weekly lesson with our mare in training, he was a patient instructor. Thank you Slash D!"
